Arturo was born in Mexico, and raised between Mexico and Spain. He has lived and studied painting in Mexico, San Francisco and New York. He moved to New York in 2004 and he became affiliated with The Water Street Atelier one of the most prestigious schools for classical realism painters under the leader and mentor Jacob Collins. After years of perfecting his technique Museums and Art collectors recognized the value and uniqueness of his work and was featured in numerous national and international artists magazines.
The National Mexican Museum of Chicago has 2 of his paintings on the permanent collection and every year he participates for the Big show of The day of Dead. Arturo’s works includes still-lifes, landscapes, interiors, and figurative works.
For his November 10th exhibit, Arturo’s Solo Show is preparing a collection of still lifes from the classical traditions to the modern and contemporary, landscapes from San Francisco to NYC, and figurative works.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to submit their events to the Chamber’s community calendar. Please adhere to the following guidelines for all event submissions:
– Preference will be given to those events taking place in the cities of Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside, and Portola Valley. Large scale events of influence outside the city of Menlo Park will be considered for inclusion on an individual basis.
– The Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to publish events at their discretion.
