Event Description:
This workshop explores Paul’s two-fold view of the Law. 1. He urges his Gentile listeners to obey the Law's call to moral purity, but not to embrace its Jewish identity markers (circumcision, keeping kosher, calendar). This is an effort to fulfil Isaiah and the prophets. 2. Christ transfigures the Law and by the gift of his Spirit empowers believers to accomplish works through the God’s love poured into their hearts After all, only the doers of the Law (in this second sense) shall be justified (Rom 2:13).
Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Gregory on Saturday and Sunday.
